CMGE Deepens Partnership with SOON as Overseas AI Casual Games Extend from Small and Mid-Sized Studios to Mass Creation

In May this year, CMGE and SOON jointly developed GamePartner.AI, a one-stop AI agent platform for global casual games; the platform has since brought a number of casual titles to overseas markets. Among them, Sorting Go: Mini Mart (《出发吧!便利店》) was developed in-house by the SOON team on the platform, and after launch the team turned to the first AI data analytics engine, “SoonData”, to collect and analyze data, optimize rapidly based on market feedback, and complete several rounds of iteration within two months. Core metrics in the new version (retention and playtime) doubled from the first release, and the title is about to kick off large-scale promotion.

Today, SOON officially released its mass-market lightweight game creation platform “SoonPlay” (https://soonjy.com), giving users across China a platform that is lightweight to create on, easy to play, low in cost and quick to publish, where countless creative products are expected to emerge. CMGE has also become the first overseas game publishing partner, and will give priority to selecting quality casual games produced on the platform, offering overseas publishing and commercialization support to help outstanding works by individual creators reach global markets.

Continued Optimization Builds R&D and Publishing Synergy

GamePartner.AI was jointly built by CMGE and SOON. It provides AI game development support to small and mid-sized teams and connects them with publishing on major overseas game platforms. Since June this year, the platform has brought multiple casual games to overseas markets, attracting more than 300 small and mid-sized development teams and independent creators to register and join.

Sorting Go: Mini Mart is one of the standout titles among them, and the first game developed in-house by the SOON team on GamePartner.AI. Set in a supermarket, it blends item matching, sorting and organizing with light management gameplay, and targets casual players who enjoy relaxed, comforting experiences.

After launch, the team used the first AI data analytics engine “SoonData” to keep refining the product based on test feedback, completing several rounds of iteration within two months, and core metrics in the new version (retention and playtime) doubled from the first release, providing a reference for further scaling of promotion and giving GamePartner.AI a practical case study that runs from development and launch through to live-ops optimization.

Throughout this process, SOON provides the AI technology and R&D support while CMGE handles overseas market testing, publishing and operations. The two sides push product optimization forward and assess commercialization potential based on market feedback. As promotion continues, how the product performs at a larger user scale will also inform their decisions on further testing, iteration and scaling.

Partnering with SoonPlay to Take Individual Creators’ Best Work Global

Building on the GamePartner.AI partnership, the two companies have extended their cooperation into mass-market creation.

On October 20, SOON released its new lightweight game creation platform “SoonPlay”, which enables users to make games quickly, conveniently and at low cost, bringing more individual users who have creative ideas but little professional development experience into game creation.

As SoonPlay’s first overseas game publishing partner, CMGE will combine its overseas publishing experience with the market needs of different regions to prioritize casual games with potential, offering publishing and commercialization support for qualifying works and helping outstanding titles move from creative showcase to overseas markets.

The partnership gives individual creators who lack publishing resources and market experience a channel to overseas markets, and it also widens CMGE’s product discovery scope. As the creator community grows, more works across different themes, gameplay and creative expression are expected to emerge, giving overseas casual game scouting a richer pool to draw from.

GamePartner.AI and SoonPlay cover, respectively, professional small and mid-sized development teams and mass-market creation scenarios, while CMGE uses its overseas publishing and operations capabilities to connect the two creator communities, linking product scouting, test-driven optimization and marketing so that quality ideas become games for players worldwide.

Going forward, CMGE will continue to deepen its collaboration with SOON, advancing product optimization and promotion and continuing to identify casual games with overseas publishing potential — helping outstanding titles go global while enriching its overseas product pipeline and laying a foundation for the sustained development of its overseas casual games business.
